Best Chair Guides is a research-based review site. We do not run a chair-testing lab, and we do not pretend to. Our recommendations come from data-driven research: manufacturer specifications, verified owner feedback, and retailer data.
What we compare
For every chair we compare the frame and materials, weight capacity, seat size and dimensions, adjustability, upholstery, and how it folds or stores. We check each specification against the manufacturer’s own listing before we publish it.
How we rank
We rank chairs on back support, build quality, size and portability, materials, and value for the job they are meant to do. Scores out of 10 compare chairs inside the same guide — they are a summary of our research, not a lab measurement.
